Any person who has the authorisation to conduct business on behalf of and in the name of another party (individual or company). There are numerous types of agents of which include but are not limited to; brokers, commission merchants, manufacturer’s representatives.

A forwarding or carrying agreement that is non-negotiable between the shipper and the air carrier. This can be issued by either an authorised agent or direct from the carrier.
